I'm currently completing my MSc in the Earth2Ocean Research Group at Simon Fraser University. I study animal-mediated nutrient cycling, and am assessing the functional roles of sea cucumbers in The Bahamas at the Cape Eleuthera Institute to determine how different species impact seagrass growth through their excretion (i.e. their pee!).

I most recently worked as a Marine Science Educator, Scientific Diver, and Research Assistant from 2015-2018 at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre, where I honed excellent skills in temperate fish, marine invertebrate, seaweed, and marine mammal ID. I'm always learning more from this community when it comes to vascular plants, birds, fungi, bryophytes, insects, and the marine tropics!
