Field Genomics Researcher and Herpetologist working mostly in the Tropical Andes. Main interests include species radiation of direct developing frogs, endemicity, and nanopore sequencing applied in a conservation context. In a rapidly changing world, large institutions can't keep up with biodiversity surveillance, so we have to. I think small, decentralized sequencing labs are the solution.

Associate Investigator at INABIO Ecuador (http://inabio.biodiversidad.gob.ec), Research Scientist for In Situ Labs Initiative (https://insitulabs.org). Currently pursuing a masters in Computational Methods in Ecology and Evolution at Imperial College London.
