The Illinois Valley of sw OR and surroundings has 5139 observations, 1214 species and 352 contributors! The geographic boundaries were made carelessly (by me). We want to adjust the boundaries. Any suggestions? Maureen Jules
It might be useful to split it into two areas at the border of CA. Theres probably enough diversity between the two areas to justify two areas

Maybe the watershed into the Illinois Valley to the ridge lines surrounding. Also, you might stop at the California border, make it an umbrella project, and call it "Biodiversity of the Illinois Valley".

Is Illinois Valley a subset of the Klamath Mountains? If not, then there should be no overlap. If yes, then use the watershed boundaries.
Yes the Illinois Valley is in the Klamath Mountains.
