Autumn is in the air
Thank you to everyone who has added new wildlife records to the Big Forest Find during the summer months. From Idless Woods deep in Cornwall, to the northern edges of Kielder Forest on the Scottish border, records have appeared across all corners of the nation's forests.
As summer turns to autumn some of the best wildlife look out for are fungi, lichen and forest fruit. We look forward to seeing the number of species recorded tip over 2,000!
