Terry and Monica inspected the North Section
Friday, January 26. Terry observed 37 dead newts, including 2 juveniles; no live ones
Momca had 28 dead newts, including 2 juveniles. --- 65 newts in total
Time: 9:10 am - 11:15 am
Coverage: from Lexington Reservoir County Park parking lot to the 2nd stop sign.
Weather: partly cloudy, mid-to-high 50s.
Other roadkill we observed: 1 amphibian, several millipedes, possible snail
Traffic - 33 cars, 21trucks, 0 motorcycle, 2 pedestrian, 7 bicyclists.
