This one has me puzzled. We paused to admire these particular trees because our guide said they were a highly endangered species that only had a few localities left. I wrote down for the name "Ravenela ribolaris (sp?)" and that they were a "highly endangered palm". But Ravenala is not a true palm, which our guide definitely would have known, and there doesn't seem to be any Ravenala species that sounds anything like "ribolaris", and I can't find any palm species that sounds like that either.
