Rainy Walk Behind the Rec Center
Today I decided to take a walk to clear my head after taking a bunch of exams. Even though it was raining, the temperature still felt nice, around 64 degrees Fahrenheit. It was only drizzling, but occasionally I could hear thunder. The leaves on some trees were beginning to turn red, signaling the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. The rain droplets I saw really enhanced the solid greens and vibrant reds I saw on the trees. Still, despite the rain, I was surprised by all the wildlife I still saw active during this wet day. On the route to the Rec Center, I saw the typical weeds including dandelions and sow thistles. Behind the gym, I was saw wild mushrooms and even birds frolicking in the rain. On the way, I back I some nice purple henbit growing among some shrubs.
