OKNP houses Kentucky's natural heritage program, and our staff is responsible for monitoring and maintaining data on populations of state and federally listed species throughout the state.

Community scientist observations from iNaturalist are a valuable source of rare plant data, and we often reach out to iNat users regarding observations identified as state listed plant species.
