I am a lifelong student of the natural world, but currently I am working on my Master's at Sonoma State University, where I am studying thermal adaptation in Chrysomela beetles. I am also working with @bugsoundsjc and @willc-t on cicadas of the genus Okanagana. My chief interests include cicadas, particularly the cicada species of the Western US, as well as other insects, herps, and a great many invertebrates. I am always eager to learn about new organisms and share my growing knowledge with others.
