I live in Vancouver, Washington, USA. Although I am interested in a wide array of groups, my passion is for Odonata (dragonflies and damselflies) which I have been studying since 1995 and photographing since 2006. I am most familiar with the western North American species, but I can be of help with Odonata of the New World in general.

Many of my photos and information on Odonata (particularly with regard to Oregon) is at http://odonata.bogfoot.net/. I used to post intermittently on my Northwest Dragonflier blog at http://nwdragonflier.blogspot.com/—maybe I'll return to that some day.

Over the last few years, I have become quite interested in photographing and identifying moths. I feel that I have developed a pretty good eye for the Pacific Northwest fauna (primarily macromoths).
