My husband and I both love exploring and have life long interests in the living things that make up our natural world. (none living things too...rocks, minerals, etc.). We explore remote areas of the west coast of North America by kayak, observing and examining whatever interesting creatures and plants we see along the way. We don’t restrict ourselves entirely to the coastal environment however, and travel to lots of other environments too: deserts, mountains, caves, grasslands, etc., but usually in North America. We are amateur biologists who love the opportunity to learn, especially about the species we encounter on our adventures.
