Journal Post #3 -Rebeca Castro
Today was the last day of our trip and while I am sad for it to end this has been one of the best experiences of my life. Walking around Grand Canyon National Park and seeing it in all its majesty gave me that same feeling of smallness as I felt when we were at the Artist's Pallet. While I say that I felt small I mean that in a self-awakening and perspective gleaning kind of way. Seeing the grandeur of nature reminds me of the fact that there is so much more to this life than my small everyday problems. It makes me feel content with what I've accomplished so far. I'm so happy that I chose to stay in this class not just because the destinations were life changing but because I have made friendships and memories on this trip that I will never forget. I could not have chosen a better group of people to share this journey with if I had tried.
